Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains, in plain terms, what information Qorr handles while the product is being tested, why, and the choices you have.
Signing in with LinkedIn
You sign in to Qorr with your LinkedIn account. When you allow Qorr on LinkedIn, LinkedIn shares with us:
- your name and profile photo;
- your email address;
- a LinkedIn identifier for your account, so we recognise you the next time you sign in.
Qorr does not receive your LinkedIn password, connections, messages or posts, and does not post anything to LinkedIn. Your name and photo are updated from LinkedIn each time you sign in.
Information you add
When you create your profile you add your job title and company, and you can add a link to your LinkedIn profile.
What other people see
When you meet someone in Qorr, they see your name, photo, job title and company, and a button to your LinkedIn profile if you added the link. Your email address is never shown to other users.
Conversations happen live, by voice. People close to an open conversation can hear it before they join. A conversation made private with Gather can only be heard by the people in it. Qorr does not record conversations.
Technical information
To run Qorr and keep it secure, we handle basic technical information such as your IP address (for example, to limit repeated wrong invite codes), connection and diagnostic information, and usage figures such as how long voice is used. Your browser keeps your sign-in and invite code on your device so you don't have to enter them each time.
How we use information
We use information to operate Qorr and its networking features, keep accounts and the community safe (including reviewing reports), fix problems, improve the product, and contact you about the service, for example about testing.
Reports
If you report someone, we keep the report, including both people's profile details and the reason given, so we can review it.
Service providers
Qorr relies on a few providers, who process information only as needed to provide their service:
- LinkedIn, for signing in;
- Railway, which hosts the Qorr server and stores accounts and profile photos, in the European Union;
- LiveKit, which carries live voice between participants;
- Vercel, which hosts the Qorr website and app.
How long we keep information
We keep your account and profile until you delete your account. On a device, you stay signed in until you sign out, or for up to 180 days without using Qorr. Reports may be kept longer where needed to keep the community safe.
Your choices
- Edit your profile at any time from the account menu. To change your name or photo, update them on LinkedIn and sign in again.
- Delete your account from the account menu. This permanently removes your profile, photo, email address and sign-ins.
- Remove Qorr's access in your LinkedIn settings, under permitted services.
- To request access to, or correction or deletion of, your information, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Qorr develops. If we make material changes, we will update the date below or provide another appropriate notice.
